UK based artist Charming Baker has his first Los Angeles based solo exhibition opening tonight in Los Angeles at Milk Studios | Los Angeles. ”Lie Down I Think I Love You” features a multitude of works by the artist, all dealing with the inner struggle of nature vs. the modern world.
The exhibition celebrates it’s opening on March 21st, 2013 (tonight 6pm - 9pm) and runs through the 23rd at Milk Studios in Los Angeles - 855 N Cahuenga Blvd Los Angeles, CA 90038 - phone (323) 469-8900
During the flood last year in Pakistan, millions of spiders found refuge in trees around the most affected areas. With webs so thick, many of the trees looked painted. Photographer Russell Watkins for the UK’s Department for International Development was on hand to capture this amazing event.
This proves once again, mother nature is the best installation artist we know of.
